Katie Kelly, Licensed Acupuncturist

Katie came to acupuncture through personal experience: years of chronic neck pain unrelieved by conventional medicine. After only a few acupuncture treatments, her problem was resolved easier than she'd ever expected, and she decided to learn more about Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Katie received a Master's in Acupuncture from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, OH, and specializes in chronic pain management and mental health (anxiety, stress, depression, etc). TCM recognizes that everything in the body is connected, which allows her to approach your concerns related to the body as a whole; you are a dynamic being rather than just an individual symptom. The treatment for your pain may be totally different than for someone else's, and that is the beauty of acupuncture.

Outside the studio, Katie volunteers as a foster with Speak for The Unspoken, helping dogs with special needs find their furever homes. She loves hiking in Columbus Metroparks, and seeks opportunities to sit peacefully along rivers and lakes. She finds joy in the beauty of local fruit and veggies and cooking regularly. A friend described her sources of happiness simply as: food, water, trees.
