More about Vandana…

How did you first come to find yoga?

My early on practice was a meditation series that I was introduced to as a young teenager. Years later, my pursuit of yoga started with a group of motivated individuals wanting to build mental peace along with physical strength. A daily routine became a part of my life and I experienced changes within myself spiritually as well as physically that helped me respond to life’s challenges with a different perspective.

What are some key ways it has supported you in your life?

Rightfully said by some yoga practitioners, “You don’t do yoga, yoga does you”. It has helped me connect within myself giving that space to grow and connect to people with meaningful relationships.

What do you like most about teaching?

Teaching gives me energy. I love connecting with people. It gives me immense pleasure if I can make a positive impact in one person’s life.

Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself?

I live in Dublin with my husband and 2 children. I love the outdoors and adventures. My favorite pass time is spending time with my family outdoors & travelling to different parts of the world. Dublin has provided us this opportunity with all the beautiful trails & I have walked or biked almost every single trail here at Dublin. I plan to travel the world and experience the diversity of humanity.

If you could learn anything new what would it be?

I would love to learn deeper the essence of Ayurveda. I am interested in learning a variety of practices that help us embrace good health & fitness.

Name something on your bucket list.

If there is one place on earth that I have to go, it is the Himalayas!!!
